Registration

There will be 20 spots open for contestants. All contestants must be registered by November 5, 2010. To register send and email to info@global-events.tv containing your name, address, phone numbers, email address, salon name and address and your cosmetology license number. We will confirm your registration confirmation via email. There will be a $100 registration fee which is to be made payable to “St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital” and mailed to NakedHair Competition, 160 W Camino Real #123, Boca Raton, FL. 33432. The registration fee is tax deductible and will be mailed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Tennessee. Upon receipt of your registration fee we will send you an email confirmation securing your spot in the competition.
CUTTING COMPETITION
All contestants must be at the contest site no later than 5:30 Saturday November 6th, 2010. The contest will begin at 6:30
. All contestants will supply their own model, shears, combs, and blow dryer. Contestants will not be allowed to use any styling products or styling tools, (ie. brushes, irons, rollers etc.).
Models must have clean dry hair, product free. When the contest starts contestants will spray damp their models and begin cutting. When you are done cutting you will blow dry your style using only your hands. You will have 30 minutes to complete your style from start to finish. Judges will judge you on:
•Suitability: how the cut coincides with models face shape
•Execution: technique, dexterity and timing
•Originality: is the look innovative and edgy
•Finishing: how well was it styled out

If the judges detect product in the models hair, you will be disqualified.

STYLE OFF REQUIREMENTS
The “Style Off” competition will take place after the “Cutting” competition. We will put the 20 competitors names in a hat and draw 6 names to compete in the “Style Off” part of the competition. There will be 1 winner. You will have 20 minutes to re-wet your model and style his or her hair using whatever you like. All equipment and products are acceptable. So make sure you bring everything you need to create your style.

You will be judged on two criteria: Creativity and Execution.
The Winner gets 2 tickets to Hard Rock Live for 6 shows of their choice.
